The SkyShield initiative has gained significant support in France. In Paris, an event organized by the SkyShield France collective was held at Salle Gaveau, dedicated to the idea of creating a European “air shield” to protect Ukraine.

The event brought together more than 900 participants and featured the presentation of a petition calling for the provision of modern air defense systems to Ukraine.
The petition was initiated by French National Assembly member Frédéric Petit, communications scholar Philippe Moreau-Chevrolet, and aviation analyst Xavier Tytelmann. The organizers called on the French government to support the SkyShield initiative and provide all possible air defense systems to protect Ukraine’s skies. By the time of the event, the petition had gathered around 60,000 signatures.
Experts discussed the practical and political aspects of implementing the project, as well as its strategic significance for Europe as a whole.
The organizers shared the results of an OpinionWay survey, which indicated that 63% of French citizens support the SkyShield initiative.
We sincerely thank SkyShield France for their active support of the initiative and for organizing this important event.
